Thanks for visiting B-AAS. If you want to ask a question, request a link, or report a problem, please use the form below to e-mail me. However, please keep in mind that:

  • I am based in the UK. I don't have a massive database of every doctor and support group in the western hemisphere... not even in my home town.

  • Everything I have to say about AS that isn't about my personal experiences, and much that is, is already here on this site. If it's not here I DON'T KNOW.

  • I am not a medical professional. I CAN'T DIAGNOSE YOU OR YOUR KIDS and that includes giving 'my opinion'.

  • I am just one person and this is a personal site. I am not a charity or an organisation with staff and resources. I CAN'T HELP YOU.

  • I don't have printed materials to send you.

  • If you are about to complain that I haven't included something you think I should have READ THE SITE FIRST... it probably is here and it usually is.

  • I don't do people's homework for them or provide any kind of 'looking stuff up for you' service. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

  • Finally, and I cannot stress this enough, NO STALKERS. This site is not a giant personal ad.

Sorry to have to be so assertive, but unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who just expect, and sometimes even demand, way too much.

I get lots of e-mail, and most of it is great. I really enjoy reading them and sometimes really useful and interesting stuff comes out of it. I have no objection to people writing to me for legitimate reasons, asking questions about me or what I've written here, telling me about themselves, or even just to say Hi.

As it is though, I struggle to find time to answer all the e-mail I get, and unfortunately it is e-mails like I have described above that usually end up taking the most time to deal with. Therefore from now on I will just ignore and delete any that fall in to the categories listed in favour of spending more time replying to others. Please understand though, I still don't have time to answer all of them.

If you want to leave comments for other visitors to this site to see, please use the Guest Book.

Thanks. Sam.
